I'm a country boy. Live in a small town. I've been cooking most of my life. I do and don't want a restaurant. I don't want all the hours but I love inventing new dishes. I'll try most anything (within reason) Andrew Zimmerman I'm not. Very happily married

I mostly like proteins but as we get older I'm having to branch out into the green world. BBQ is my favorite

Who I cook for
Wife, friends and family. I am also a member of the Pacific Northwest BBQ Association, and a BBQ judge with them as well. I have not competed as of yet but I am practicing for it.

My greatest cooking triumph (so far)
I love ribs, my wife sez the vegetable soup I made last night,,, who would have thought Kale would taste THAT good in a soup?

My worst cooking disaster (so far)
I once paid top dollar for 2 of the largest, most marbled steaks I have ever bought, then marinated them in Tamari, not knowing how salty it was,,,,
BAD IDEA!
