What I like to cook
My specialty is Third Coast Cuisine (the foods of the Gulf of Mexico) but I am well versed in several styles.
•
Who I cook for
Customers, friends, family, pretty much anyone who's hungry.
•
My greatest cooking triumph (so far)
In May 2010 I released my second cookbook, Third Coast Cuisine, which was one of just four American cookbooks nominated for the charity category in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. It didn't win the grand prize. However, there are over 10,000 cookbooks published each year so it truly was a honor to be nominated.

My worst cooking disaster (so far)
I tried to make a quick mountain berry jam once. I added too much sugar and ended up with a half pound Jolly Rancher.
