What I like to cook
Chicken, oven roasted, grilled, sauteed with veg. Fish. Asparagus and greenbeans. Pseudo-homemade (heavily doctored from jar) meat sauces. Pancakes and waffles. Genius gravy.
•
Who I cook for
Wife and daughter, on routine basis.
•
My greatest cooking triumph (so far)
Thanksgiving. Always oohs and ahs. Got the touch with turkey and gravy.
•
My worst cooking disaster (so far)
Still makes me queasy, thinking of cookies made with char sui (Chinese BBQ sauce). Looked like something, forget what, that was supposed to go in the cookies.
Once a year, at least, I incerate meat or chicken on the grill 'cause I tried to multitask and forgot to watch.
