The one-minute story of my life
I have loved/had a passion for cooking since age 7. As a single father (most of my life) my 2 girls (and their friends) have been my biggest praisers and critics. Family, friends, and food; the three 'F's that have dominated my life (don't ask about the fourth 'F' LOL). I am now physically disabled, but still love to cook whenever I can.
If you want to know something about me; just ask. I am an open book for the most part. Besides, I never know what to say in these areas.

What I like to cook
Everything! Love to take 'old school' cooking and add a bit of new. Yet, discovering something new; whether it be a new way to cook, a new spice, a new recipe, or way to do something, is always an exciting thing to me.

Who I cook for
Family and/or friends.

My greatest cooking triumph (so far)
->1st Quiche Lorraine. Turned out perfect and even my parents couldn't believe it. I was 12 and although I had many triumphs they had a back up ready for this dinner.
--The one above makes the 'worst' funnier and is in the top 3 'bests' but this one is probably more-so a best:
-> My Disappearing Double Chocolate, chocolate chip java cake w/Mocha chocolate java frosting.

My worst cooking disaster (so far)
2nd Quiche Lorraine. It was 10 days later. I was half through making it with the modification (as I did in the 1st) when I realized I forgot to get the ingredients to make the crust. I ended up making a graham cracker crust to put it in. It turned out like scrambled eggs w/bacon, spinach, Swiss cheese (etc) in a graham cracker crust.. trust me YUCK!
