In a blender, combine olive oil, jalapenos, peppers, mustard, chili powder, and basil. Blend thoroughly.

Reserve a quarter of the marinade.

Marinate chicken breasts for 1 hour in fridge with remaining marinade.

Heat grill to Medium and lightly oil grate.
5.
Remove chicken from marinade and place on grill. Cook for about 7 minutes on each side, until meat is no longer pink in the middle. Brush reserved marinade on chicken throughout grilling time. Serve.
- used this marinade over the weekend when friends were visiting. It was a huge hit, and everyone wanted the recipe. I couldn't find the dried jalapenos, so I just used canned, diced ones. I doubled the recipe for the 6 larger breasts I was grilling, and added some more liquid (Worcestershire and water) to make it go a little farther ... but it was perfect! and the fresh basil makes it oh so good.
