Add potatoes to large pot of boiling, salted water.

Boil 20-25 minutes or until soft.

Drain all water off potatoes and cut them up so they mash easier.

Add milk, cream cheese, 4 tablespoons butter, fresh garlic, garlic powder, garlic pepper, onion salt, and salt and pepper to pot. Mash until smooth with hand mixer.

(optional) Melt remaining butter. Put potatoes in casserole dish and drizzle on butter. Broil uncovered for @10 minutes until top has nicely browned crust.
