Microwave Nacho 'Casserole'

This recipe simply turns nachos inside-out, making use of the tortilla chips at the bottom of the bag that are too broken and small to use for nachos or dipping.

Ingredients

1 cup broken tortilla chips
1 cup salsa (I use On the Border(R))
1 cup shredded, Mexican-blend cheese
2 slices deli-sliced ham (optional)

Preparation method

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, layer 1/2 of the tortilla chips, 1/2 of the salsa, 1 slice of the ham, and 1/2 of the cheese. Repeat as another layer.
2. Microwave on High for 1 minute. Remove from microwave and stir. Microwave on High for 1 minute.
3. Remove from microwave, stir, and serve.
