Not So Ho Hum Hummus

If you like hummus, basil and Parmesan cheese, you'll love this. A great dip to go with your favorite chips, crackers or fresh uncooked vegetables!

Ingredients

1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
3 large cloves fresh garlic
15 fresh basil leaves
2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 15 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

Preparation method

1. Put all ingredients into your food processor and puree thoroughly.
2. Best if put into a covered bowl or other container and refrigerated for one hour before serving.
