This is a summertime favorite. Traditionally a southern dish, this is a good recipe for picnics or pot luck lunches. This particular recipe is easy to make and takes little time to prepare.
Liquefy onions and anchovies in a food processor or blender. Thoroughly mix all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook for 9 hours on lowest setting. When done, shred meat with two forks or an electric hand mixer. Cook at least one more hour and serve on hamburger buns.
