BBQ Sauce

Stan Adams' recipe. If you like a tomatoey sauce, boil down a can of crushed tomatoes to reduce its volume by half and add that to the mix.

Ingredients

1/3 cup good honey
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1/2 teaspoon each sweet paprika, black pepper, minced garlic, kosher salt
1/4 cup minced onion
1/2 tablespoon chipotles in adobo, blended smooth
1/3 teaspoon each cayenne, dry mustard, clove, and ginger
1 -2 shots brandy, to even out

Preparation method

1. Stir together all ingredients in a bowl. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator.
