Dad's Famous Ribs

These are fall-off-the-bone ribs and simple to make. The secret is low heat (250 degrees F) and time (3 hours). Either in the oven or on the BBQ.

Ingredients
Serves : 4
2 pounds baby back ribs, browned
Sauce:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
4 dashes Tabasco(R) sauce
1 large onion, diced
3 cloves minced garlic
Salt and pepper to tatse
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
3/4 cups water

Cook: 3 hours

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
2.
Brown the ribs in a heavy skillet.
3.
Mix ingredients for sauce in bowl. Pour sauce over browned ribs in large casserole dish, bone-side down.
4.
Bake in preheated oven or BBQ uncovered for 3 hours.

First time I made ribs and it was great! I did a dry rub the night before & refirgerated, then grilled for 15 min a side before putting in the oven with this sauce. Had to cook for about 5 1/2 hrs to get it 2 "fall off the bone". With those tweeks, these ribs were awsome!

used venison and beef and added 1/2c bbq sauce .

Something else.
Cut the silver skin off the ribs and then give em a dry rub and refrigerate overnight
