Combine flour and butter at low heat to make a roux. When your roux is lightly browned, add the chicken broth, evaporated milk, Cheez Whiz, beer, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook on med to low heat for about 45 min.(Do not over heat it) It will thicken as it cooks. When thick, add the chive onion and enjoy.
Used a pale ale for the beer - very good! Served this for family who don't drink beer, and for the most part they liked it. Those who do drink beer loved it! I left the meal swearing to pass on the recipe! Don't forget to top with crumbled bacon and croutons.
