1.
Saute the garlic for 30 seconds in the olive oil.

Add the onions, and saute until crisp-tender.

Add the whole tomatoes and sauce and use kitchen shears to cut them in small pieces in the pot.

Add the chicken broth, thyme and 1 tbsp Hickory Bacon Salt and simmer for 8-10 minutes.
5.
Take out the thyme, blend with the immersion blender until smooth.
6.
Add more Hickory Bacon Salt and pepper to taste.
