Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook pasta as directed on package, about 10 minutes. Drain.
Meanwhile, place chicken and bacon in separate skillets and cook over medium heat until both are cooked through, bacon is crispy and chicken is no longer pink in the middle. This will take about 15 minutes.
Remove bacon first and pat with a paper towel. Cut bacon into bite-sized pieces and place in a serving bowl. Next place pasta on top of the bacon.
Stir cheese and pesto into the pasta. Remove the chicken and cut into cubes. Add to pasta and toss. Serve immediately.
