Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over high heat. Break the meat apart as it cooks so no large lumps remain. Once browned, pour off excess grease.

Meanwhile, stir the soup and salsa together in a saucepan over medium heat until hot and evenly blended. Pour half into the ground beef once you pour off the fat.

Continue cooking both the beef and the cheese mixture until they are hot and bubbling.

Spread the tortilla chips onto a serving platter, and spoon the beef mixture over top. Drizzle with the remaining cheese mixture, then sprinkle with tomato and jalapeno peppers to serve.
