In a small bowl, whisk lemon zest and juice with olive oil and garlic. Add basil leaves. Brush some onto zucchini, then pour the rest over the swordfish cubes in a mixing bowl. Let marinate for 10 minutes.

On each skewer, thread swordfish and lemon wedges. Season with black pepper, then grill for 10 to 15 minutes, until fish is cooked thoroughly. Turn every 5 minutes or so. Grill zucchini alongside the fish skewers.
