Country's Meatballs

A combination of meats and some spices for a great taste in meatballs to add to your favorite sauce. Also can be used for burgers.

Ingredients

1 1/4 pound ground beef
1 (12 ounce) tube chorizo
3/4 pound Italian sausage
1 cup shredded cheese
2 eggs
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley
Italian seasoning to taste
salt and fresh cracked pepper
3 cups crushed saltine crackers
1 cup olive or canola oil, or as needed.

Preparation method

1. Mix beef, chorizo, and sausage in large bowl.
2. Add cheese, eggs, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix together.
3. In small amounts add crushed crackers into meat mixture. After mixing all the crackers, slowly mix small amounts of water until you get a moist but stable texture when formed into meatballs.
4. Form into 2 inch meatballs. Heat oil in skillet and cook meatballs until brown on outside. Remove from oil and let drain on paper towels. Add meatballs to your favorite sauce and simmer an additional 20 minutes.
