Preheat over to 350 F. Grease and flour 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.

Chop walnuts coarsely; set aside. Beat milk, butter, and sugar in

Medium bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda;

Gradually add to butter mixture, stirring until blended. Stir in apples sauce, cinnamon and walnuts until well blended; pour batter into loaf pan.

Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pan, and cool on wire rack. Wrap in foil and store at room temperature.
