Grease a 2 quart square baking dish. Arrange hashbrowns evenly in the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with cheese, ham and onions. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, pepper and salt. Pour egg mixture over hashbrown mixture in dish.

Bake, uncovered, for 40 to 45 minutes or untill center appears set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Very good recipe... I did however change a few things, only because I did not have what I needed and/or I thought other ingredients would be promising to this delicious dish... I used polska kielbalsa as my meat, added a small amount of bell pepper, used american and mozzerella cheeses, and added 1/4 cup of sour cream to the milk and egg mixture.... OMG! delicious... thank you for the recipe.
