It doesn't matter where I bring these poppers, a company potluck, family gathering, or a birthday party these things are the first thing gone. That's why I call them "GONE". Sweet, heat and bacon! Whats not to love? As a wise man once said. "If you don't like bacon. You are wrong". Easy to make and a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients
Makes: 24 poppers
12whole jalapeno peppers
1 (8 ounce) packagecream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) cancrushed pineapple with juice
1 tablespoonyour favorite BBQ rub (I like Yardbird from BBQ Plowboys)
Halve the peppers lengthwise and scoop out seeds with a spoon (Wear rubber gloves).

Mix the softened cream cheese, pineapple, and BBQ rub. Place in quart size freezer bag. Snip off a corner and pipe into peppers until level full. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each pepper half.

Place on wire baking rack that is resting on a baking sheet to catch the drippings. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the bacon is as crisp as you like.
