MAKE IT YOUR OWN! this is an easy recipe to add things to. Sometimes I will add stew beef and use beef stock. Most of the time we throw bratwurst in the pot, but I've tried everything from tomatoes to lamb. If it can stand up to an hour of boiling, chances are it will be a good addition. We even crisp up leftovers in a skillet and top with some eggs the next morning for a great hash.
