Cook shells according to package directions. Let cool on a baking sheet greased with a small amount of oil.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown and crumble the sausage in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat;drain. Remove to cool slightly.

Mix half of the cheese and the seasoning into the meat. Using a tablespoon, scoop into shells. Place in a 9x13-inch baking dish, open side down.

Pour marinara sauce over shells and top with remaining cheese.

Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then uncover and let cheese brown for additional 5 to 10 minutes. Garnish with additional Italian Seasoning, if desired.
