Combine the marinade ingredients and meat strips in a zip-top bag until evenly mixed. Press out the air, seal, and marinate in the refrigerator up to 4 days, but a minimum of 24 hours.

Dehydrate or smoke at 160 degrees F until dry, 6 to 8 hours. Or cook according to manufacturer's directions.
