This great marinade is equally good on beef as well as venison. I always set some of the fresh marinade aside in a separate dish after I make it. I use it to lightly brush meat after grilling.
Whisk together the marinade ingredients until evenly blended, then pour into a zip-top plastic bag. Add the steaks and mix until evenly coated with the marinade. Press out the air and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator at least 12 hours.
