Combine the corn, cream, milk, MSG, salt, sugar, and pepper in a saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer 5 minutes.
While the corn is cooking, mix the butter and flour together to form a smooth paste. Stir in to the simmering corn, adding teaspoon-sized nuggets at a time until the nuggets dissolve and the corn thickens. Simmer gently another 5 minutes to cook the flour.
