Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Combine the meatball ingredients in a bowl until evenly blended. Roll into golf ball-sized meatballs and place onto the baking sheet. Freeze about 15 minutes to set the shape.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Roll the meatballs in flour, then fry in about 1/2-inch of canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until golden brown. Place the meatballs into a baking dish once browned.
Whisk together the sauce ingredients and pour over the meatballs in the baking dish. Bake until the sauce is sticky and the meatballs are no longer pink on the inside, about 45 minutes.
