Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Brown the ground beef and onion together in a large skillet over high heat until the beef is crumbly, browned and no longer pink, about 7 minutes.

Sprinkle the beef with the taco seasoning, then stir in the beans, corn, olives, and salsa. Bring to a boil, the reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.

While the mixture is simmering, crush the corn chips, and spread 2/3 of them evenly into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Spoon the bean mixture evenly over the chips, then sprinkle with the remaining crushed chips.

Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes until hot. Sprinkle with the shredded cheese, and bake 10 minutes more to melt the cheese.
