Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.

Beat the eggs in a bowl until mixed, then stir in the brownie mix, water, oil, bacon, and 3 tablespoons of bourbon until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan, and smooth the top.

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 55 minutes.

Remove the brownies from the oven, and pour the remaining 1/4 cup of bourbon over the brownies in the pan. Let cool to room temperature, then place into the refrigerator. Chill 6 hours before slicing and serving.
