The name is only half the story! I take al dente farfalle (bowties cooked just right), add some artichoke hearts and cannellini (white) beans, and toss the whole thing in butter and sautéed garlic. Delicious!

A quick, nutritious, low-fat recipe that's inexpensive to make, yet has a ton of flavor. The medley of beans pairs nicely with the wild rice. Serve with a loaf of fresh bread and you're in heaven!

I nice twist on regular chili using both Great Northern and Kidney beans. Marinating and grilling the chicken makes a difference as to sauteing it. This could easily become a vegetarian dish by omitting the chicken of course and the chicken broth and adding more of your favorite veggies. As for the spices, i like to use way more. adjust them to your liking. Enjoy!

This is a easy black bean soup with the smoky flavor and kick of chipotle peppers. Resist the urge to add any salt as the bacon and canned beans already bring enough salt to the soup the balance the dish perfectly. I used bacon ends for this recipe because they are cheap. If you can't find them, choice bacon is fine to use. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream and Tostones (Fried Plantains).

This sugar-free variation is sweet and tangy and great as a dip, on chicken or pork, or as a salad topping or side dish.

A quick, easy, warm stew that is ready in 30 minutes. Depending on how mild or hot you would like your stew you can substitute Rotel(R) for mild, medium, or hot and regular ranch style beans for ranch style beans with jalepenos.
