Beef recipes (293)

Some men smoke beef for days. Some don't cook it at all. Broiled? Delicious. Roasted? Amazing. You could probably strap a slab of beef to your tailpipe and end up with a decent meal. No, that's a bad idea. Here are some better ones.

This is a very spicy but not too pepper-hot. If you think this might be too pepper-hot just reduce the amount of jalapeno peppers. You can always add some red pepper to kick it up. I serve mine with grated Colby Jack cheese and corn chips.

Italian-seasoned beef prepared with balsamic vinegar, mozzarella cheese, marinara, and a slice of pepperoni to top it off. If you desire, heat up the pepperoni, marinara, and maybe melt the cheese a little in a toaster oven or microwave prior to preparing the burger.

This is not your average lasagna. With 5 different cheeses mixed with seasoned meat, it will make your mouth water.

This is just a family recipe that I have changed slightly, the flavours are stronger. It is a simple dish with just simple ingredients but you will need a large pot to fit all the ingredients (can be a 1 pot dish if you wish). This dish is an overnight dish. Leaving it overnight in the fridge allows the excess oil/fat from oxtail to float to the top, therefore easily removing them.

My aunt has been making this recipe since she married my uncle. One day, my mother borrowed the recipe and invited them for dinner. My uncle thought it was the best chili he had ever had and told my aunt she should get the recipe for it to make it later. Suffice to say, my aunt was not pleased - but she still makes it for him.

Tender steak and asparagus morsels simmered in a velvety gravy with sour cream, and then draped over baked potatoes. This is a perfect main dish for either curling up on the couch on a cold night (only one hand required to eat!) or company dining, served atop a lettuce leaf with steamed broccoli, crusty sourdough bread and a light salad. My daughter and I think it's a classic tummy-warmer.

This is a summertime favorite. Traditionally a southern dish, this is a good recipe for picnics or pot luck lunches. This particular recipe is easy to make and takes little time to prepare.

I've made this cheese ball for years. I find the jarred dried beef to have the best flavor but you have to rinse it to remove much of the salt. This recipe works best if made at least one day in advance.

Based on Indian Rogan Josh (red lamb), this recipe also borrows from Mexican and American culture to create something quite unique, and delicious. very quick and easy, the actual rolling of the wraps is the only semi-difficult part.
