This cake will kick ya on yer butt... 100% of the alcohol is intact, so you will feel the effect. It's VERY time consuming to make, I do a step a day, keeping it in the freezer. The recipe makes 2 cakes. The longer in the freezer the better, but take out the day or 2 before drinking (I mean eating).

Absolutely the best pecan pie ever! What's more Southern than pecan pie? How about one that only takes 5 minutes to prepare?! Pecan pie even a New Yorker can enjoy...

Do you prefer a stuffing that is a little sweet?  Try this stuffing that balances the savory ingredients with apples, raisins and a touch of cinnamon.

This is a recipe that I came up with by combining several general versions. It is a little bit costly but it is well worth it for this irresistible dish. Mushrooms and two types of cheese in a rich creamy sauce makes this melt in your mouth. Everyone loves this version and I haven't seen one like this anywhere.

A twist on a buttery toffee recipe that I found online. I made it as a gift for friends at Christmas! We like to dip ours in semi-sweet chocolate after it has cooled but the toffee is great on its own.

Soooo many people have told me they have never had ham gravy. Boy, are they missing out. This is my favorite meal; baked ham with mashed potatoes and ham gravy. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

A grilled/smoked turkey is juicer and has a far better flavor than an oven roasted turkey. The turkey will be more tender and juicy than you thought possible. The recommended size for BBQ is 12-14 pounds. The turkey must fit under the lid with about 1-inch space between top of turkey and lid.

I've made this cheese ball for years. I find the jarred dried beef to have the best flavor but you have to rinse it to remove much of the salt. This recipe works best if made at least one day in advance.

I use an electric roaster for this bone-in ham recipe that my mother has been using since her childhood. Small changes may have to be made for making the ham in a traditional oven.

Don't let those teenagers at the fast food joint have all the fun--you can make these Brazilian chicken nuggets, known as coxinhas, at home.
