This is not your average lasagna. With 5 different cheeses mixed with seasoned meat, it will make your mouth water.

The name says nothing about what this recipe is. It's not Canadian. It's not French. It's not surprising. It's epically Italian.

I've been trying to perfect the perfect lasagna, for my tastes at least. It's been a long road, and I've played with it and tweaked it quite a bit and now, I love it,all my friends seem to wolf it up. I made the instructions non cook friendly and simple. It's good when it's done, it's better after it's been in the fridge the next day.

For basil and garlic lovers only, this simple, fresh pasta recipe can be eaten as a meal or as a side. Make it heartier, if you wish, by adding cooked chicken, bacon or pancetta along with the white wine. I use linguine, but any good pasta will do-- remember to undercook it slightly. Add cayenne for heat. Delish.

The name is only half the story! I take al dente farfalle (bowties cooked just right), add some artichoke hearts and cannellini (white) beans, and toss the whole thing in butter and sautéed garlic. Delicious!

The sweetest treat of the Italian bakery. If you can't make it to Little Italy (or Big Italy) make it in your own kitchen.

This recipe is for people that love pasta. You can have it with family or cook it for your partner as romantic dinner. You can make modifications to the recipe if you do not like something like the wine or mushrooms; they can be left out and you can make a simple carbonara sauce if you would like. This recipe just adds a little spice to the standard carbonara sauce. Hope you enjoy!!! Serve with a little sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese and pepper if you would like.

I got this recipe from my dad, and it is delicious. Serve over pasta. The extra sauce can be frozen for later use in pizzas, lasagna, etc.
