Judy's Clam Dip
Recipe by:
KYMike
My mother prepared this dish (along with another simple appetizer consisting of chilled cocktail shrimp stuck with festive toothpicks along side a dish of cocktail sauce) every Christmas as far back as I can remember. It is a creamy, savory blend of easy-to-find ingredients that showcases the rich flavor of the clams. Stay with the mentioned brands and you'll never be disappointed. Serve with Ruffles(R) Original potato chips.
Goody's Bacon Brown Sugar Smokies
This is MEAT CANDY!! Baking them in the oven allows the bacon to crisp, the liquids to be released from the Smokies, and the brown sugar to caramelize on them deliciously. It also allows to you control the fat content of them a bit more easily, as most of the bacon drippings will remain on the sheet pan after cooking. We usually make them during the holidays, but they're good for all year 'round, of course. So easy to make!
Deep Fried Clams
Dredged, dipped in the deep fryer, salted and served with tartar. Doesn't get much easier than this recipe for fresh clams.
Greek Vegetable Pizza
The flavors of Greek salad sit on top of flaky crescent roll crust for a tasty summer pizza.

Beef and Onion Cheese Ball
Recipe by:
PALAR2
I've made this cheese ball for years. I find the jarred dried beef to have the best flavor but you have to rinse it to remove much of the salt. This recipe works best if made at least one day in advance.
Cranberry Delight Spread
Recipe by:
CURTISLEE
This is a festive spread that goes great with any kind of cracker. It was given to me by a friend who has made it for years. It's especially nice during the holidays, but tasty enough that you would never want to have it only once each year. It's a cream cheese based spread with orange zest, pecans, and dried cranberries providing an excellent supporting role. Dessert, hors d'oeuvre, or something else? I'm not sure, but I hope you like it.
Nana's Dill Dip

This recipe always makes me think of Christmastime and my late Nana, because we made it every Christmas and New Year and continue to do so.
Mini Beef Wellington Hors D’Oeuvres
I love the richness and elegance of Beef Wellington, particularly for fancy winter dinners. Beef Wellington, if you haven’t had it before, is a medium rare slab of steak, topped with fois gras and mushrooms, then wrapped in puff pastry and baked. The dish can be an expensive proposition, so I’ve transformed it into economical hors d’oeuvres.

Spicy Cheese Ball
A cheese ball with a little kick to it, thanks to a roll in some chili powder.
