My father-in-law grows huge blackberries and always has tons. I tried a number of recipes and none really hit the spot. So I created this one and it worked so well that my fiance said it was the best she had ever had. Serve warm with heavy or whipped cream.
My mother made this pie all of my life. It's one of those desserts that just make you feel good. And, for me, it brings back so many wonderful memories!
Family favorite. I make this on Thanksgiving for the family and they all rave about it. I am told it is one of the best and lightest pumpkin pies ever. Funny thing is, I don't eat it. Add whipped cream and enjoy!
This is the classic noodle kugel that my mom always made for Shabbat dinner. It is incredibly easy to make and tastes so good! For best results, make the kugel the night before and put in the refrigerator. The next day, slice it with a knife and reheat in oven until warm.
A delicious chocolate cake recipe from my wife's family. Great with chocolate frosting or whipped cream and berries.
Mandarin oranges, gelatin, and vanilla pudding combined to make a light fluffy dessert.
This is the recipe my Mom used at the fish market and gave samples of it to their customers who came in to buy seafood. Submitted by: Dorsey Marshall, Jr.
Long list of family and friends that beg for this pie.
This is a fantastic frozen treat that is easy to prepare, is a great after dinner desert or summertime snack, yet elegant enough to serve at a dinner party. Snickers(R) bars, Heath(R) bars or chocolate mints are an excellent substitute for the toasted coconut.
Delicious gingery, spicy cake for dessert. Goes great with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
Apples and peaches cooked on the grill are used to make this delicious summertime cobbler. Serve it with plenty of vanilla ice cream.
Baked red apples with a strong, sweet flavor and a buttery cinnamon filling with a hint of coconut. Goes well with vanilla ice cream or alone.
Old fashioned ingredients put into a pie! Expect requests for seconds!
Mom used to make this cobbler for us when I was a kid in the 1960's. I love the smell when the cobbler is baking. Great with ice cream topping. In the summer she used peaches and in the fall she used apples. Very quick and easy to make.
This is rich, creamy, and cozy. The best rice pudding i have ever eaten. My mother is from England and she always made rice pudding for a treat.
This is a double layer pie. The top layer is spicey peaches and the bottom layer is a cream cheese filling. I've had a lot of wonderful comments with this pie.
Howdy Y'all! Pecans Rule! This is a wonderful recipe for those Sunday afternoon family get togethers! I make it all the time and the family just loves it!
Ridiculously easy dessert that is basically a throw together of various ingredients. I came up with this on a hunch, and it is now one of my friends' and family's favorites.
I was a little surprised there wasn't a similar recipe already on here. I've been continually adjusting this recipe for two years but I realized when my grandfather preferred my pie over my grandmother's that I was on to something. For less tanginess, use lemon juice. As for the crust; I lightly pack it down then brush it a bit with my hand to make the surface rough.
I swear, no rabbit meat! It's a flavored cake in the shape of a rabbit's face with cream cheese and coconut frosting.
