A hearty mix of Italian-style dumplings and hearty steak.
Stuffed up? This sucker will clear you out. Hot horseradish dumplings make for a hearty and spicy chicken soup.
Frozen tortellini come to life (not in a zombie way) and join with cubed sirloin steak in this decidedly manly soup.
It takes a thick and delicious soup to satisfy the hunger of a professional fireman. If you have tried other recipes and thought they were good, you haven't tasted anything until you taste this one! The rich flavor sends even the most critical person back for seconds! Knephla are dumplings.
I grew up eating Knoephla soup, a German tradition. I have altered the traditional recipe from my youth, replacing chicken broth with cream of potato soup and adding a few ingredients. This recipe is for immediate use, but I prefer letting it chill over night, then warming it up in a crockpot the following day. Only add the knoephla 20 minutes before serving as they will get mushy if left in too long. This is perfect for a cold winter day.
Winter wilts under attack from this great soup full of beef, four types of vegetables, and cheddar cheese dumplings.
