Retroantix
Based on Indian Rogan Josh (red lamb), this recipe also borrows from Mexican and American culture to create something quite unique, and delicious. very quick and easy, the actual rolling of the wraps is the only semi-difficult part. (See our "How to roll up a wrap" article.)
A True Wienerschnitzel
Recipe by:
wsf
Contrary to popular belief, Wienerschnitzel is NOT German! In fact, the name gives it away: Wiener, the German word for Vienna. It is an Austrian dish, and one that relies on true simplicity to work. This is the recipe as found at Schnitzelwirt in Vienna. It can be made with almost any meat, but below I give instructions for a veal or pork schnitzel.

Auntie's Chili with Beef
Recipe by:
Jamie
My aunt has been making this recipe since she married my uncle. One day, my mother borrowed the recipe and invited them for dinner. My uncle thought it was the best chili he had ever had and told my aunt she should get the recipe for it to make it later. Suffice to say, my aunt was not pleased - but she still makes it for him.

A simple marinade, heavy on the bourbon and seasoned with soy sauce is all this steak needs before crisping up under the broiler.
Camp Meat Chili
Recipe by:
Iron Skillet
This recipe does not call for beans, and I recommend you try it that way. They can always be added later if someone (like my wife) insists on ruining it with beans. While deer hunting on the Nueces River, someone shot some 'camp meat', and I had to cook it up. I diced it into 1/4 inch cubes, browned it in a cast iron pot over an open fire, and went from there. I didn't have oregano, corn meal, crackers or garlic, but served flour tortillas with it and everyone enjoyed it.

This is a quick recipe that I threw together one night. Not really sure what to make, I basically threw together whatever was in my pantry and it turned out great.
