A big batch recipe for meaty spaghetti sauce that is loaded with fresh vegetables.
A meaty and very tasty sauce that only gets better the longer it simmers. Enjoyed with almost any pasta, this has been a really old family favorite.
Dan and I love to travel. We love our beef noodle soup it is very popular in Adelaide. So we ordered it at a Chinese restaurant in Manila NSW. Well it was nothing like the Vietnamese Beef noodle soup we were used to but was very very tasty. So I promised Dan I would try to recreate it when we got home. It's like a a satay flavored laksa. I hope you like it. Try using Green curry paste and replacing beef with chicken.
This is all southern: Bacon; a good barbecue rub; mac cheese, which is a "vegetable" down south; and a Brussels sprout slaw (made with bacon grease, of course). Serve this only to the hungry.
This is not your average lasagna. With 5 different cheeses mixed with seasoned meat, it will make your mouth water.
You'll love this baked spaghetti dish stuffed full of Italian sausage, ground beef and FOUR different kinds of cheese!
This hearty bean and beef stew is from the archives of the Irving Independent School Distrist, Irving, Texas.
This casserole is layered with Italian sausage, ground beef, Velveeta(R) cheese and spaghetti. My grandchildren love this!
A Pasta with Bechamel sauce that is then baked to perfection. A rich French/Italian favorite combining the cultures of Nice on the Riviera.
Classic lasagna made with ground beef and sausage.
An easy and hearty cheese, beef and tomato sauce pasta bake. Just a recipe that I experimented with.
This is a quick and easy recipe that is healthy for you too.
A blend of recipes I've found plus my own thoughts for a delicious homemade spaghetti sauce with meatballs.
This is a recipe that I developed to combat the 'spaghetti sauce' lasagnas that have polluted the recipe world. This is a versatile recipe that allows for some ingredients to be omitted. Omit meat to turn this dish into a vegetarian delight. An additional baking dish may be needed. I usually need to split this recipe to accommodate the vegetarian in my life (I prefer to be the carnivore). This dish can be made ahead of time and set in the refrigerator or frozen to be baked later.
Just a basic one pot goulash my dad used to make us when we were kids. He added the cream cheese cause none of us were real fans of just the tomato taste.
All parents and/or cooks cooking for a family of fussy kids, stop right here. This recipe is sure to please your children, without making the adults feel like they have just taken a trip to tastebud tragedy. Gourmet this stovetop casserole is not, but who needs gourmet?
Lasagna how my mom made it, and the way we all secretly love it.
This recipe was given to us in 1965 by a friend from Italy who's had it in their family for over 85 years. The Gerimonte family used to cook this for benefit dinners - called the (Gerimonte Spaghetti Fest). Follow this recipe to the last ingredient and you will be handing this down for many generations to come.
One of my first original recipes! It fed me through my bachelor days.
An incredible variation passed on by a friend. This one is addictive as I can eat 1 myself. The pasta forms a delicious crust and the cheese bubbles up into the meat and the mozzarella forms a topping. Slice like a pie and serve. ***optional: when you cook the ground beef you can add onions, mushrooms, or sausage.
