"Kid-Approved" Macaroni and Cheese
Recipe by:
Larry
This makes a great side dish, but once the kids try it, it will become their main dish. The directions were made simple enough for a ten year old or a real beginner cook wanting to go beyond take-out or boxed dinners. Great for pot luck dinners too.
Easy English Muffin Pizza

English muffin pizzas are the ultimate between-meal snack. Ready in minutes and always tasty.
Popcorn
Recipe by:
Fergies Kitchen
Popcorn done on the stove instead of the microwave. This method first heats the oil to the right temperature, then waiting 30 seconds brings all of the other kernels to a near-popping temperature so that when they are put back on the heat, they all pop at about the same time. With this technique, nearly all of the kernels pop, and nothing burns. Makes 4 quarts, a nice amount for three people, or for two hungry ones.
Victory Pig Pizza
Recipe by:

When I was younger, I worked at Victory Pig Pizza in Wyoming, PA. They serve a greasy, soft dough pizza that people would drive for miles to get. Many restaurants in the area would try to duplicate the recipe, but would only come close. After watching them make their variations and observing the staff at the Pig, I think I have come pretty close. It's not quite the same, but it's still quite good. Here is my recipe for a pizza similar to Victory Pig.
Popcorn and Bacon Bars
A manly dessert with none of that fru-fru whipped cream and such. Just popcorn, sugar, bacon and pecans.
Tartar Sauce
Get the famous restaurant flavor of tartar sauce for your home-cooked fish dishes.
Heat But No Meat Nachos
Plenty of spice and tasty cheese, but none of the meat in these vegetarian-friendly nachos.
Easy Nachos with Refried Beans
Tasty refried beans in every bite of these cheesy nachos. Use vegetarian refried beans to make this for non-carnivores.
Grilled Old Fashioned Pancakes
Hop out of your tent, get your griddle nice and hot, and cook these scratch pancakes. You'll be the hero of the morning.
