Grilled Sirloin Steak with Sweet New Mexico Marinade
The taste of this steak is delicious, the color is a masculine brown. Soy sauce, brown sugar, and red chili powder and cayenne pepper gives steak a meaty look as well as taste. Inspired by WileyP's "Spring Hill Ranch Go-To Grilled Steak 1"
Army Bacon Coleslaw
A very easy recipe for coleslaw; you just throw these ingredients in a pot and cook them up. Chill and serve at your next cookout. Adapted from the 1910 Manual for Army Cooks.
Manly Breakfast Gravy
Here is a gravy that is hearty and filling, goes a long way and is very nearly a meal in itself. Definitely NOT Lo-Cal!
Slow Cooker Boston Baked Beans
Make this classic Thanksgiving side dish the easy way -- with a full day simmering in your slow cooker. Remember you have to soak the beans the night before.
Spring Hill Ranch Basic Steamed Artichoke
Lots of folks used canned artichoke hearts in lots of dishes, but all too rarely does one see artichokes served as a stand-alone side dish. Personally, I love 'em and tend to have one every week or two. This is a very basic recipe for the person totally unfamiliar with the nettle. There are hundreds of ways to serve them, and this is the start... (If you'd like larger step-by-step pictures, send me a message)

Site Sunday Shrimp Dip
Back in the day I had to work, it was 12-hour shifts, 7 days in a row. On Sundays when we were on daytime shifts (we worked nights, too, but not on the same week!), we'd get together and bring in a really nice dinner. This dip was always required, not just by my crew, but by the day-staffers that came in on Monday, too!
