Best Damn Chili

After years of adjustments I have found a recipe for all to enjoy. Previous ones were either too hot or too mild, this one even was to the liking of my fiancee who hates chili.

This is always a favorite after that first cold spell of winter. This recipe makes enough to put some away for leftovers. This chili is even better after reheating. An easy recipe that is quick and sure to be a family favorite. Serve and enjoy with crackers, cornbread, cheese or Fritos. This is not a hot chili and is just a tiny bit spicy.

Everyone that has tried this chili has loved it, the house smells great when you make it, and it tastes even better. This recipe makes 16 servings, which can be 2 batches at most homes. We make more, and freeze it: lasts longer, tastes better.

I came up with this recipe by just messing around trying to find a good recipe for chili, and so far every time I make it people line up for a bowl...hope you like it! I usually let mine cook for minimum of 10-12 hours, but i feel the longer it cooks, the more the it brings out all the flavor. This is as mild tasting chili or as hot as you want to make it. I really don't like it too hot so I find my chili to be spicy enough for chili but not so bad that I start sweating.
MarshMan's Lean Crock Pot Chili

Nice hearty crock pot chili recipe with a hint of salsa. My family loves it - just the right heat and spice level that even the kids will devour it. Serve with corn chips and corn bread if you like. This is not an overly hot chili recipe I usually use Medium salsa and 1 can of mild and 1 can of hot chilies. Just the right amount of heat and spice so can be enjoyed by all.

Where's the beef? Right here !!! If you love a meaty and hearty chili you've found what you're looking for. Over the years I've eaten a lot of chili, looked at many chili recipes and talked with several people to create my unique blend. Interesting ingredients that make this stand out: 5 different meats (4 pounds total) 3 different peppers (Green & Red Bell + Hungarian) Sauce base including Coffee, Beer and Beef Broth Unsweetened cocoa powder
MJ's Red Beans and Rice

Mike Palmer
My all-time favorite recipe, which my Dad makes every year on New Years Day for the college Bowl games. I prefer the ham hocks, but you can substitute a ham bone for them. To slice the sausage easier, put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes first. The longer you cook it the creamier the beans get; I love to let it simmer all day, the smell is wonderful. Serve with hot rice.

A recipe handed down. This meaty no-bean chili is very simple to make, with plenty of spice. No-salt seasoning helps keep the sodium down.

Easy Taco Chili con Carne
With all the can opening you get prepping this recipe, it almost counts as a workout. The payoff? Besides stronger forearms, a chili that cooks up very quick.
Five-Pepper Turkey Chili
That's right, five chilis. Count 'em up: Red bell, jalapeno, anaheim, powdered and chipotle. All that spice gets a healthy teammate in ground turkey. Inspired by Danny Jaye's "Best Damn Chili."
