One of the cooks I work with turned me on to this recipe. It is easy to put together. It has fresh fruit and bite size candy bar pieces. A summer time treat. Buy more candy bars than you need. Your kids will help you with the leftovers.
This is one of the best ways to eat cranberries! It's sweet, crunchy, and a bit tart. Even the kids like this one. We've had to start making a double batch! When short on time we have combined the fruit and marshmallows the night before serving, and added the gelatin, whipped cream, and walnuts in the morning.
A delicious ham salad for sandwiches or on top of your favorite crackers.
This is a great quick dessert for an extreme sweet tooth. Nothing LITE about this recipe but it is a hit with kids, and for cooks needing a dessert in a hurry.
I pull all the meat off a rotisserie chicken, cut it into small bite size pieces, and add paprika, dry mustard, mayo, and celery. Sample as you fold in all the ingredients!
Whenever we go to a party or BBQ everyone always asks us to bring this. It's easy and a hit! Family, Friends and Kids love this. Great on its own or forego the chicken and just use the salad if attending a BBQ or serve with steak or other meats etc or a vegetarian dish.
A wonderful combination of garlic, soy sauce, vinegar with a slight zing!
A colorful alternative that tastes as good as it looks. Even better the next day.
This makes for a nice change from ranch-style dressings. Darrell worked for a restaurant that used something similar to this as their signature dressing. You can vary the seasonings to create many great cream based salad dressings.

The absolute easiest best creamy coleslaw ever!
An easy to make summertime salad. A favorite at our home.
This Filipino version of fruit salad, modified from Auntie Josie's recipe, infuses a condensed milk cream coating with a mixture of canned and exotic fruits.
Mix of fruit and nuts blended in a sea of Cool Whip. I am still experimenting with this recipe, check back to see of there is any thing new!
Traditional side dish or a tasty topping. There are a lot of variations including with onions, scallions and more... but my favorite is the basic, which has a fresh crisp and tangy taste.
Truly a cornucopia of ingredients Buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, dry mustard, paprika, sugar. You will make this over and over; your adult family members will thank you.
A light and unusual salad for hot summer days. Can be eaten on the spot, or made from the night before chilled. A really quick light dish for the hot summer days...and it looks as good as it taste!
This is a classic three bean salad that is good for vegetarians, and meat eaters alike. My four year old will eat it, and she is not crazy about beans. So we named it after her. Allow your three bean to chill and marinate in the refrigerator for up to six hours, you can of course eat this right away. I however find that it is much better after it has had time to soak in all the flavors of the “dressing”.
This isn't strictly a chutney, but it's a great topping for schnitzel (fried chicken cutlet)! Adds a sweet and spicy flavor.
Mayonnaise, cottage cheese, ketchup, garlic powder, Beau Monde, and lemon juice combined to give you the taste and flavor of thousand island dressing without the calories.
