Picalilli Salad
This dish has a long history, from the Acadians (who became the Cajuns) and then eventually to the U.S. Army. Adapted from the 1910 Manual for Army Cooks.
Beer Lemonade Punch
An easy summer alcoholic drink. Pretty light, so the guests at your picnic and cookout will still be able to legally make their way home.
Unfancy Lemonade

No lemons required - just the basic lemon juice from concentrate you have in your fridge. Simple like KoolAid(R), tastes similar to Countrytime(R).
Basil Sour Cream Dip
Nothing beats the taste of fresh basil--if you've got your hands on some, use it for this simple dip.
Pink Lemonade

This is my first recipe so pull any punches {if you have any} but I think this recipe is quite good for a summer picnic hamper. P.S. I tried to put it into US standard measurements rather than the metric way. I'll try to keep it up!
Kool-aid Drink

A delightful Kool-aid adult beverage that I came up with when I wanted a drink but didn't want the traditional Margarita.
Mojito

After many nights of playing around with this recipe, I believe I have created the perfect mojito. I also make it with dark rum instead of Bacardi and it tastes excellent.
Sunkist

This alcoholic drink is fabulous! It tastes like a Sunkist(R) soda.
Screwdriver Cocktail
There’s that scene in Mad Men where Fred Rumsen says, “Breakfast without orange juice is a hell of a long day.” Soon after, Fred learns the dangers of the breakfast cocktail. At any rate, the Screwdriver. Best served after brunch, Fred.
College Dorm Beer-ritas
We used to make these in the dorm and invite a group over. Makes about 1 pitcher. We had to limit everyone to 2 at first since it would tend to hit when we thought it wouldn't. If you're really brave try to play beer pong with it.
Summer Fizz Drink

This is a fun strawberry lemonade drink to make for yourself on a summer evening. To serve more than just one person, use the same proportions.
