A tangy and sweet chicken recipe that livens up the taste buds and brings smiles to people's faces.
This is my adaptation of a family recipe for skillet baked cornbread using buttermilk and cream-style corn. Goes well with just about anything!

A quick and easy way to satisfy everybody!!! Grade A.
A delightful sweet and slightly spicy red chicken chili that is perfectly complimented by a nice cornbread. Fantastic for fall and winter days. Works well as a quick and easy dinner when having friends or family over.
Tasty, inexpensive chicken and gravy combo. Delicious over mashed potatoes or buttered toast. Makes enough for lots of meals. This is another of my attempts to recreate and improve meals my mother made in my childhood.
Growing up, this was the one dish we always looked forward to. We only had it twice a year, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Before Grandma passed away, she gave us the recipe. Enjoy.
This is the sauce that uses the most basic ingredients but gives great flavor. You can use this recipe as a guideline and add your favorite ingredients to make it your own creation.
Simple food that warms the heart. This is extreme comfort food. This is a recipe that is over 150 years old from my great-great-grandmother. Beef and sauce, slow cooked and mixed in with a little love. You won't regret making this. Try serving over noodles.
An American favorite for years. It's great with Cuban bread. You can make individual bowls with Cuban bread, just cut out the center!
This is my adaptation of my mama’s bread. If you like a crunchy bottom this is for you.
Easy and delicious, this Mexican inspired dish will surely please everyone in the family.
My all-time favorite recipe, which my Dad makes every year on New Years Day for the college Bowl games. I prefer the ham hocks, but you can substitute a ham bone for them. To slice the sausage easier, put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes first. The longer you cook it the creamier the beans get; I love to let it simmer all day, the smell is wonderful. Serve with hot rice.
This is a nice weeknight skillet meal using boneless pork chops. This recipe is different from others using cream of mushroom soup, because the addition of ketchup to the sauce gives it nice flavor and a pink hue, hence the title. This dish goes well paired with egg noodles.
Tender pork meat with hot sauce.
This recipe was a product of necessity and is easily modified to accommodate what you have in your fridge or pantry... Makes great leftovers, too! Serve with cornbread!
The red wine gives this sauce a distinct taste, which I love. You may not want to add as much garlic as I do, but I'm a garlic guy.
A traditional creamy split pea soup recipe, with red bell pepper and plenty of ham!
Kielbasa, peppers and onions get a flavorful touch from apples and fresh garlic. Quick and easy!!! Serve with warm bread.
This is a simple recipe that I have used for years. It's what I ate growing up, and I tried to measure it out so others could make it too.
