This is a vinegar and mustard based "Carolina Style" sauce, as opposed to most ketchup and molasses based sauces. The combination of sweet and tangy flavors brings out the absolute best in grilled pork and chicken. This is the only sauce I use for my ribs!

Just a simple "no frills" chicken salad recipe I came up with .. can be made quickly and easily with ingredients on hand. Enjoy it on bread, in a pita pocket, or over a bed of lettuce.

This is a variation of the classic Nanaimo Bars, but it tastes like a B-52 shooter. These are a great alternative to Nanaimo Bars or Rum Balls.

A great way to spice up Caesar dressing, with the bacon flavor of Baconnaise. Recipe ok for fish-eating vegetarians.

This is the ultimate BLT thanks to the addition of J&D's Bacon Ranch. Now, not only is the sandwich in a convenient easy-to-hold wrap, it explodes with bacon-y flavor.

Chocolate-covered peanut butter delight!! Great for kids. If you don't have a double boiler, just use a glass mixing bowl over a saucepan of boiling water.

Don't worry--these don't have eccentric California ingredients! In fact, they are very traditional. The only exception is the use of sourdough bread crumbs, which lend a fuller, tangier flavor than crackers or plain crumbs. Combine the sourdough bread crumbs with a perfect blend of spices and vegetables and lots of crab, and you have a winning combination. Make smaller cakes for appetizers, or larger ones -- like these -- for main dishes. Enjoy!

This is a great quick dessert for an extreme sweet tooth. Nothing LITE about this recipe but it is a hit with kids, and for cooks needing a dessert in a hurry.

Chilled coconut milk and honeydew with an infusion of mint and melon liqueur makes a delightful start to a meal. Served in a chilled small soup cup and garnished with a sprig of peppermint. Every time it gets wows! Volume varies with the size of the melon. I use 5-ounce servings.

This easy to prepare marinade will make any steak spoon-tender. It will also make your friends & family scratch their heads when you tell them your "little secret". This is probably enough for 4 - 6 steaks. Make sure marinade covers all the steak.

This recipe is ideal for those whose stomachs cannot handle balsamic vinegars - like mine! The cranberry and cider vinegar compliment lighter main course meals. Please note the overnight storage in steps 1 and 2 is optional, but the longer the oil and vinegar sit in the fridge, the better the flavors combine.
