This amazing Sweet Apple Pie recipe is the best! Make as a special treat for someone or just scoff it all yourself, no one would blame you as it’s just so good! Serve hot, warm or cold – it’s all good! This does go exceptionally well with vanilla ice cream or just really thick whipped cream… oh la la!

I was a little surprised there wasn't a similar recipe already on here. I've been continually adjusting this recipe for two years but I realized when my grandfather preferred my pie over my grandmother's that I was on to something. For less tanginess, use lemon juice. As for the crust; I lightly pack it down then brush it a bit with my hand to make the surface rough.
