Family favorite. I make this on Thanksgiving for the family and they all rave about it. I am told it is one of the best and lightest pumpkin pies ever. Funny thing is, I don't eat it. Add whipped cream and enjoy!
The ginger-snap pecan crust is what make this frozen pumpkin ice cream pie different from the others. Delicious!
Long list of family and friends that beg for this pie.
This is my great grandmother's recipe for apple pie. I lost it once so I needed a safe place to put it. Serve with a dollop of whip cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
For the pecan pie connoisseur, this is the richest flavor you'll find! I think this is the perfect combination of sugars and nuts to produce the ideal flavor and texture. For the pie crust, believe it or not, the refrigerated rolls of pie dough from the store are great for this pie. (Don't buy the pre-molded pie crust!)
I have made this pumpkin pie many times for friends, and they always ask me for the recipe afterward. One friend tells me this is "just like the pie my grandmother used to make!"
This pie recipe won a lot of respect at the holiday table! I guarantee you this is the best pecan pie you will ever dream of -- oh, and watch yourself lick your fingers when you're finished -- umm-umm good!
This is a super simple peach cobbler recipe I learned in the fire house. It has 4 ingredients (including the pan) and is so easy, even a firefighter can do it!!!
If you're called upon to make Thanksgiving dinner, do yourself a favor and free up space in the oven by making this bread pudding in the toaster oven.
A great dessert for two (or for a small family) that beginning cooks can make.
Kahlua, pecan & chocolate pie that is the perfect autumn desert. The chocolate chips don't make it too sweet while adding just the right texture to a pecan pie. The Kahlua tastes better if you let the pie sit for a day or two ;). This is not just your typical pecan pie.
Great variance on a traditional Thanksgiving treat, They'll ask to take some home. Top w/whipped cream or fresh honey. Enjoy! --Ron
A light and fluffy summer dessert salad that is so good you will want to eat it first!
Do you love sweet potatoes? This recipe walks a fine line as a decadent side dish and a wonderful dessert. I can't decide so I just make this easy recipe and amaze my friends and family.
