Carbonara
Recipe by:
Manuela
This recipe is for people that love pasta. You can have it with family or cook it for your partner as romantic dinner. You can make modifications to the recipe if you do not like something like the wine or mushrooms; they can be left out and you can make a simple carbonara sauce if you would like. This recipe just adds a little spice to the standard carbonara sauce. Hope you enjoy!!! Serve with a little sprinkle of extra Parmesan cheese and pepper if you would like.
California Sourdough Crab Cakes
Recipe by:
CHEFSINGLEDAD
Don't worry--these don't have eccentric California ingredients! In fact, they are very traditional. The only exception is the use of sourdough bread crumbs, which lend a fuller, tangier flavor than crackers or plain crumbs. Combine the sourdough bread crumbs with a perfect blend of spices and vegetables and lots of crab, and you have a winning combination. Make smaller cakes for appetizers, or larger ones -- like these -- for main dishes. Enjoy!

This is very airy and not too dense, it comes out beautifully, if you follow the instructions exactly. They are very tasty as well, and this version is not hard at all.
Creme Brulee
Recipe by:
RTT470
By far the best tasting Creme Brulee I have ever made. I learned it from a classically trained pastry chef many years ago and it has NEVER let me down. It may seem at little more elaborate than some recipes, but this is recipe worth trying. A small torch will be needed for caramelizing the sugar. Or you can set your broiler for high. Best enjoyed with a demitasse spoon and a nice cup of strong coffee. ENJOY!!!

Savory Pepper-Stuffed Filet Mignon
Recipe by:
BBQman2007
A delicious mouth watering steak prepared on the grill. It is tender to the touch with a slight hint of Jalapeno pepper taste. It gives you the flavor of the pepper without the burn. Many people appreciate this attribute. When I cook this recipe, the steak is so tender, you can cut through it with a fork.

These wonderful fried bananas come with a bite from the jalapeno, but the mellow brown sugar cream sauce helps to tame the fire. This is my daughter's favorite dessert.
