This is a combination of meat sauce spaghetti made like lasagna. My kids love it and it is simpler than lasagna. So my son named it Easy Cheapy Quickie Spasagna. It also works well with macaroni or ziti. This recipe is perfect for vacuum packaging individual portions and freezing them for leftover night.

This recipe was created for my wife who loves Cheddar's spasagna. We do not have a Cheddar's here, so I decided to improvise and try to recreate their spasagna. This recipe is pretty close to the real thing. Top each serving with 1/4 cup spaghetti sauce, Alfredo sauce, marinara, white wine sauce, or mushroom sauce.
