Put down the phone, save a few bucks, and make your own pizza from scratch--exactly the way you like it.
My Grandmother used to make this when I was a kid. Spread over toasted English Muffins. Broil or bake until hot and bubbly. Quick, Easy, and Fun! Kids and adults will enjoy!
This makes a tasty and easy-to-work-with pizza dough in your bread machine. Knead and roll with liberal flour. You can top it with you favorite toppings, bake it (ideally on a pizza stone) and serve; or, bake by itself, then top and freeze for later.
There is a local pizza place here and I just happen to have the recipe. Or at least real close. Believe me, it's awesome. :-)
I was going to make a pizza turnover for the kids, then it hit me.... why not top the top crust? The Pizza in a Pizza was born. Everyone who has tried it has loved it! And the best part is you can top and stuff it any way you'd like! We make our own whole wheat pizza dough in the bread maker and our own low-sodium pizza sauce. We love this with peppers onions and low-sodium turkey bacon. It's actually a pizza that's pretty good for you--just remember, each piece is like eating two slices of pizza!
Pizza in a crockpot! Easy to make if you're busy!
English muffin pizzas are the ultimate between-meal snack. Ready in minutes and always tasty.
This is a thick and chewy pizza dough that is crisp on the bottom with very good flavor, however to get the flavor you will have to allow the dough to rise several times. dough makes 2 12" pizzas and can be frozen for later use. I also use this same recipie to make french bread, garlic bread. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
This is a one dish meal. My grandmother made this dish when my dad was growing up. It is a family favorite to this day.
A delicious recipe for a tasty Greek-Style pizza using flank steak, caramelized onions, and roasted red bell peppers. This flatbread style pizza is cooked on a grill to create a wonderful crisp crust on the bottom with beautiful grill-marks. This recipe can take a little while to make but it is definitely worth the time.
Refried beans, salsa, green onions, and spicy ranch dressing add a little something different to the familiar family pizza. I like to use Pillsbury(R) Refrigerated Pizza Crust, Hint of Lime(R) tortilla chips, and Desert Pepper Trading Co.(R) 2 Olive Roasted Garlic Salsa - it is thick with extras and has a nice heat to it. Depending on how thick your salsa is, you might want to add some water as well.
If you don't have an oven available but you want pizza, this stove-top version using sandwich bread and whatever extra lunch meat you have on hand might be just what you need.
This is an quick, tasty recipe for those of you who like the flavor of basil, tomatoes, and garlic combined. It's also a great way to use up all those garden tomatoes! Use several small, or Roma tomatoes for better presentation if desired.
Homemade pizza done on your outdoor grill. Buy the pizza dough at the grocery store or get it from your favorite pizza joint - they will usually sell it to you.
Tasty and healthy, homemade pizza... in less than 30 minutes!
An intensely spicy pizza with the distinct flavor of tacos... Without that overrated taco seasoning!
Pizza rolls in a sweet crust, made from scratch. It's easier than you think and great for a crowd!
I threw these together for my daughter using stuff I had laying around in the fridge and was surprised at how good they turned out.
Easy to make pizza sauce. You need to follow the instructions exactly for maximum result.
This pizza is a modified version of the first pizzas created in Italy. The only difference is this pizza includes spices, in which the the true Italian pizzas contained only dough, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese. This recipe will make more than enough sauce for your pizza. So you can store the rest of the sauce for another time.
When I was younger, I worked at Victory Pig Pizza in Wyoming, PA. They serve a greasy, soft dough pizza that people would drive for miles to get. Many restaurants in the area would try to duplicate the recipe, but would only come close. After watching them make their variations and observing the staff at the Pig, I think I have come pretty close. It's not quite the same, but it's still quite good. Here is my recipe for a pizza similar to Victory Pig.
