This is my great grandmother's recipe for apple pie. I lost it once so I needed a safe place to put it. Serve with a dollop of whip cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Most apple pies are found with lattice toppings, but this doesn't allow your ice cream or whipped topping to seep through, so I devised a pie that would allow this to occur.
